Letters of Note recently featured a contribution to the Animator Letters Project. I thought the children’s lit enthusiasts among you would be interested in learning about the Project. The ALP’s creator, Willie Downs, is an aspiring animator who is in the process of writing to artists at Dreamworks and Pixar to ask for their advice about breaking into the business. The letters he’s received in response are fantastic. They’re full of good advice for any up-and-comer, animation crazy or not. Do yourself a favor and check out the ALP website.
